Tarcus

From construction to maintenance

A building's information, in one place.

Tarcus brings a building's BIM model, drawings, 360° photos, documents and notes into one browser. On site you photograph straight onto the plan with your phone; at the desk you see it all in the model — and when the building is finished, the same information carries on into maintenance.

Works in the browser, on a tablet and on a phone. Nothing to install.

The plan shows where photos were taken. A dot opens the 360° photo, the model from the same spot and the earlier dates.

Everything known about the building — in one view.

Every organisation on Tarcus has the whole of the basic version: buildings, models, drawings, photos, documents and notes.

The 3D model in the browser

IFC models open straight in the browser, large ones too, and every discipline together. Sections, measuring, rooms and every element's data.

Drawings and plans

PDF drawings are lined up with the model. Every level has a plan showing the photos, the notes and where the camera is.

360° photos

Photo rounds on the plan. Compare a spot on different days and side by side with the model; Tarcus helps find which way a photo faces from the model.

Documents

As-built documentation, manuals and product sheets in one place — found by building, room and asset.

Notes and BCF

Notes in the model, on a drawing or in a photo, with someone responsible and a due date. Exchanged with designers' software as BCF.

All your buildings

One place for the whole portfolio: each building with its own models, plans and history, and access by role.

iPhone and iPad

From the site straight onto the plan.

Tarcus's phone app makes a 360° photo round simple: choose the spot on the plan, press the button, and the photo is where it belongs — in a basement with no signal too.

  • One button. The app works the camera itself: RICOH THETA and Insta360.
  • Works with no signal. The plans and the model come along on the phone; photos go once the signal is back.
  • Faces blurred on the phone. Before a photo is sent anywhere.
  • Notes in the photo and on the plan. A defect is written down where it is, with a picture and its place.
Module

Maintenance (FM)

  • Asset register from the model's elements, room by room.
  • Maintenance plans and work orders recurrences, reminders, checklists.
  • Service requests from the people in the building to those who look after it.
  • Budget and replacements service life, cost and the years ahead.

When the building is finished, the information stays.

The model, drawings, photos and documents gathered during construction are where maintenance starts. The maintenance module is switched on for an organisation when it is needed — with no data to move anywhere.
